Apesar do registro na UFMG\/CNPq ter ocorrido apenas em 2013, os integrantes do grupo desenvolvem pesquisas nos Ambulat\u00f3rios de L\u00fapus Eritematoso Sist\u00eamico do Hospital das Cl\u00ednicas da UFMG h\u00e1 muitos anos (desde 2004). Desde sua cria\u00e7\u00e3o conta com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos alunos de inicia\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, al\u00e9m das professoras <strong>Fabiana de Miranda Moura dos Santos, D\u00e9bora
